Abstract:

To provide a nonaqueous pigment ink suitable for inkjet printing.

The nonaqueous pigment ink contains a silicone-based solvent, a pigment, and a dispersant comprising at least one modified silicone oil selected from among amine-modified silicone oils, epoxy-modified silicone oils, carboxyl-modified silicone oils, and fatty-acid-modified silicone oils, provided that the modified silicone oil has been adsorbed by the surface of the pigment. Preferably, the molecular weight of the substituent of the modified silicone oil is 1,000 or lower.
