Abstract:

To provide a nonoriented silicon steel sheet which has excellent low magnetic field characteristics in a high frequency region.

The nonoriented silicon steel sheet for high frequency having excellent low magnetic field characteristics has a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.005% C, ≤0.1% P, 0.5 to 4% Si, 0.05 to 2% Mn, 0.1 to 2% Al, ≤0.02% S, ≤0.005% N, ≤0.005% O and 0.4 to 5% Cr, and the balance substantially Fe. Its magnetic flux density B1 in the magnetizing force of 100 A/m at the frequency of 1 kHz is ≥0.4 T, or the number of inclusions having the diameter of 0.5 to <1 μm is ≤104 pieces per cubic millimeter, and the number of inclusions having the diameter of 1 to 5 μm is 102 to 103 pieces per cubic millimeter.
