Abstract:
To provide a nonstop traffic system using half cloverleaf capable of allowing nonstop straight advance, left-turning, U-turning, and cross walking at any time without waiting.SOLUTION: Comprising a first road that allows constant straight advancing and a second road also allows constant straight advancing in a direction perpendicular to the first road. A half overpass, a half underground traffic lane, and a pair of half underground U-turn traffic lanes, and half over ground crosswalks are assembled to form a half cloverleaf intersection at the intersection where the second road intersects with the first road. Half overpasses are constructed away from the half cloverleaf intersection on the first road and the second road respectively. Half underground U-turn traffic lanes and half underground crosswalks are assembled in both directions. When half underground U-turn traffic lanes installed in four directions away from the half cloverleaf intersection are combined and configured as a loop system, vehicles may always travel forward, turn left, and U-turn nonstop without waiting for a signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
