Abstract:

To provide a norbornene polymer film that can increase the degree of wavelength dispersion, and the like.

The norbornene polymer comprises at least one recurring unit derived from a norbornene compound having at least one substituent group containing a dehydrogenated product of an aromatic compound that has a maximum absorption wavelength within 300-400 nm and has a molar extinction coefficient of 10-100,000 [mol-1dm3cm-1] at the maximum absorption wavelength.
