To provide a prepreg substrate which has good fluidity and molding followability in a complex shape and develops excellent dynamics properties applicable to a structural material, the low dispersion of the properties, and high dimensional stability when made fiber-reinforced plastics and the laminated substrate of the prepreg substrate.
The prepreg substrate 7 is composed of reinforcing fibers 3 arranged unidirectionally and a matrix resin and has notches 4 of angles in relation to the reinforcing fibers whose absolute values are 2-25 on its entire surface. All the reinforcing fibers are divided substantially by the notches. The lengths L of the fibers range over 10-100 mm, the thickness H of the prepreg substrate over 30-300 m, and the volume ratio Vf of the fibers over 45-65%.
