Abstract:

To provide a novel adhesive or sealant composition, which is usable of fixing directly a windshield into a metal frame of a motor vehicle.

The composition comprises a crosslinkable polymer, a crosslinking catalyst of the polymer, a rheology modifier and a water scavenger, wherein the terminal of the crosslinkable polymer ends by a silyl group and its equivalent molar molecular weight is 10,000-20,000. The composition also relates to an uncured product and a cured product of the composition, and a method of producing the composition and using the same.
