To provide novel compositions, detection methods, and therapeutic methods for the immune disorders regulated by TIGIT action.SOLUTION: A method for determining whether test immune cells are any of activated or normal Tregs, memory T cells, NK cells, or TFh cells comprises evaluating the expression level of TIGIT in the test cell, and comparing with the TIGIT expression level in known activated or normal Tregs, memory T cells, NK cells, or TFh cells, or comparing the TIGIT expression level in the test immune cells with one or more known standard TIGIT expression values.SELECTED DRAWING: None
