EXAMPLE: (E)-N-ethyl-N-(6,6-dimethyl-4-heptynyl)-2-{2-[3-(3-thienyl)-2- propenyloxy]ethyloxy}ethylamine.
USE: A therapeutic or preventive agent for hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis.
PREPARATION: For example, an amine of formula II is reacted with equimolar or a bit excess amount of an alkylating agent of formula III to obtain the objective compound of the formula I.
