Abstract:
To provide a numerical control device and a machine tool capable of accurately stopping a drive shaft at a specified rotational position.SOLUTION: A numerical control device includes a CPU. The CPU starts the clamping of a drive shaft by a clamping device when the drive shaft connected to a C-shaft table moves to a specified rotational position by driving of a C-shaft motor. The CPU determines whether a misalignment amount is equal to or less than an error threshold when clamping of the drive shaft by the clamping device is completed. The CPU unclamps the drive shaft from the clamping device (S61) and controls clamping thereafter (S81) when it is determined that the misalignment amount is larger than the error threshold. Therefore, the numerical control device can accurately stop the drive shaft at a designated rotational position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
