Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wrong tapping work by calculating the rotational frequency of a superimposed main spindle when a spindle is superimposed based on the rotational directions of a reference spindle and the superimposed spindle, the rotational direction of a spindle superimposition command and the rotational frequency of both reference and superimposed spindles which are set in a spindle superimposition control mode.
SOLUTION: A spindle superimposition command is given to a block of a machining program 2, and a machining program analysis processing part 3 analyzes the command and sends its analysis result to a superimposed spindle rotational frequency calculation means 21 of an interpolation processing part 4A to calculate the actual rotational frequency of a superimposed spindle. That is, the means 21 receives the notification from the part 3 and reads the information on both current rotational direction and frequency of a reference main spindle and also on those of the superimposed spindle out of a memory 7. Then the means 21 calculates the actual rotational frequency of the superimposed spindle based on the information on the spindle superimposition command that is notified from the part 3 and also those information which are read out of the memory 7.
