Abstract:
PURPOSE:To display a characteristic character peculiar of the user himself such as a Gothic type and a Ming type by storing information on a character generator in RAM. CONSTITUTION:Data of ROM 1 in the character generator is transferred to RAM 5. At the same time, data of ROM 2 in a character generator for user is transferred to RAM 5. Only a necessary code exists in the character generator for the user at that time. When there is a display request, a CRT display means 6 refers to data of RAM 5 and reads and displays the corresponding character. After display is completed, it waits for the subsequent display request. Thus, only information in the generator for the user can be transferred by connecting addresses so that data of RAM 5 exists next to data of ROM 1 for character generator 1.
