Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the space of nursery facilities for growing the seedlings to be used for a seedling transplanting machine.
SOLUTION: The nursery facilities have a seedling device 3 which sows seeds to nursery boxes, a step stacking device 16 which stacks the nursery boxes subjected to seedling by the specified quantity each, a germination chamber 20 which germinates the seeds by storing the nursery boxes stacked by one specified number each under the management of prescribed conditions and a reloading device 26 which reloads the nursery boxes having the germinated seeds to trucks for growth until the seedlings of the seeded plants grow to suitable sizes. This germination chamber 20 is internally provided with a conveyor 21 for transporting the nursery boxes from the step stacking device side to the reloading device side. The nursery boxes are housed into the germination chamber 20 while these boxes are held loaded on the conveyor.
