An air inlet valve 14 is mounted to the opposite side of a nursing bottle body 11 to the nipple 12 and consists of a valve member 19 and a holding member 15. The valve member 19 consists of an elastic deformable sheet having an opening and projecting part 25, and the end wall of the projecting part 25 is provided with a slit 27. When pressure in the nursing bottle is higher than the atmospheric pressure, the valve member 19 is pressed by the holding member 15 to close the slit 27. When the pressure in the nursing bottle is lower than the atmospheric pressure, the valve member 19 is deformed toward the body side to open the slit 27 and introduce air.
