Title:
OAR SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR BOAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63166694
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the inboard length of an oar and the pitch angle of a blade easily adjustable, by externally fitting a supporting member in a shank of the oar in a state of capable of doing axial movement and rotation and, after setting a fixed position of this supporting member, constituting it to be clamped with a bolt for locking. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 5, having bolt pierced through a bolthole 51, is externally fitted in a shank 23 of an oar, moving this shank 23 in the axial direction, and inboard length is set so as to become the specified size. And, the shank 23 is rotated to a sleeve 6 so as to cause a blade to become to specified sense, namely, cause a pitch angle to become to specified angle. Under this state, if an interval is narrowed between flanges 50 by the bolt, width (t) between notch grooves 8 and 9 is reduced and thereby an inner surface of a through hole 10 is pressed close to an outer circumferential surface of the shank 23 of the oar so that the supporting member 5 and the shank 23 are clamped to each other.
