Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb various external forces being added to a boat hull in an effective manner, by attaching a rigger, projecting sideward, to an outer surface at both side ends of a shell plate forming a cross section into almost U-shaped form, and also attaching a linear frame, connecting both the side ends to each other, to an inner surface of a shell plate of this rigger mounting part. CONSTITUTION:A person in a rowing space operates oars whereby this oaring force is transmitted to a hull side part via each rigger 8, and this force is supported by a frame 9 and a shell plate 2 or a main member of the boat hull and a central deck 3. Among the force centrally transmitted to this rigger in particular, specially large force is a horizontal one in the ship width direction and a vertical one, and since the horizontal force is added to the axial direction of the frame 9, it is received by the frame 9. And, the vertical force is supported by the shell plate 2 and the central deck 3. This shell plate 1 and the deck 3 form the closed cross section connected to each other at a ship side so that rigidity of the said force is excellent enough.
