Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide automatic inspection by establishing the inspecting method for inspecting the number of plate-shaped objects housed in a case exactly with image processing.
CONSTITUTION: The gradation image of the case is obtained by TV or the like (S1,) filtering processing is performed to the gradation image of the case (S2,) the image is analyzed, the position and inclination of the case are calculated (S3) and based on the information, density distribution is calculated on a straight line which is parallel to the case and passes on the plate-shaped objects. By counting the number of peaks of the density distribution higher than a fixed value, the number of plate-shaped objects in the case is calculated (S5).
