Abstract:
To provide an observation device that can satisfactorily acquire a corneal reflection image.SOLUTION: An observation device is for observing an image displayed on an image display surface. The observation device comprises: an observation optical system that includes a half-transmissive reflective surface and a reflective polarizer, which transmits linearly polarized light in a first direction and reflects linearly polarized light in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and an imaging optical system that guides light, which has transmitted through the reflective polarizer, to an imaging device for imaging an observation side. A transmittance at a wavelength of 850 nm of polarized light in a direction orthogonal to a transmission axis of the reflective polarizer is 30% or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
