To simply obtain newest odds information at any time anywhere without a visit to a race track and without the need for execution of personal computer communications by allowing the user to makes dialing to an odds data center from a portable telephone set to access the center, allowing the center to send odds information of races to the portable telephone set and displaying the information on a display section of the portable telephone set.

A race track 1 sends odds data of races to an odds data center 2. The odds data center 2 stores newest data sent any time to a memory table of a storage device 3 with storage groups of the win, the place/show, the post position forecast and the correct order forecast. On the other hand, a portable telephone set 7 is used to dial a telephone number of the odds data center 2, a receiver 5 of the odds data center 2 receives the dial signal, and when the line is connected, a transmitter 6 of the odds data center 2 sends odds data to the telephone set, and the data are stored in the storage memory of the portable telephone set 7 with storage groups of the win, the place/show, the post position forecast and the correct order forecast and the data are displayed onto a display section.
