To prevent the occurrence of inter-carrier interference in an OFDM receiver.
A direct current component elimination circuit 6A eliminates an OFDM modulation signal with a direct current detection value, immediately before starting processing in a fast Fourier transformer(FFT) 11, an automatic gain control circuit(AGC) 7A performs gain control of the OFDM modulation signal with a gain control signal just before the FFT processing start, and a carrier reproducing circuit 14A defines the oscillation frequency of a local oscillation circuit 15, which is a variable frequency oscillation circuit with a carrier signal reproduced, immediately before the FFT processing start. As a result, a control value will not fluctuate, in a period when the converter 11 performs FFT processing about one symbol. Thus, the inter-carrier interference can be prevented.
