Abstract:
To provide an oil-adsorbing agent which adsorbs only oil components selectively and hardly adsorbs water and exhibits improved oil-adsorbing performance as a result and can be subjected to incineration treatment.
A hydrophobic functional group having 4 to 7 carbon atoms is chemically bound to a portion of hydroxy group of a lignocellulose of which the content of lignin is 15 to 30 wt.%.
