Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber composition which can be continuously crosslinked in hot air, can give a crosslinked product free from surface tackiness and abnormal inside foaming and excellent in heat resistance and compression set (especially in thin rubber articles).
SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. ethylene/α- olefin copolymer rubber having an ethylene to α-olefin molar ratio of 85/15 to 65/35 and a dicyclopentadiene content of 10-26 (in terms of iodine value) with 0.05-10 pts.wt. organic peroxide and 2-20 pts.wt. diallyl phthalate resin prepolymer.
