Abstract:

To provide an operating method of lead electrorefining equipment, in which the temperature of an electrolytic solution can be maintained during power failure, and that can prevent the degradation of electrodeposition lead.

The lead electrorefining equipment includes: an electrolytic cell 1; an anode and a cathode inserted in the electrolytic cell 1; an electrolytic solution circulation device that circulates an electrolytic solution in the electrolytic cell 1; and a heater 4 that heats the electrolytic solution, wherein the amount of the circulation flow of the electrolytic solution during the power failure is controlled so that the oxidation of the electrolytic solution is suppressed to such an extent that impurities do not precipitate to the cathode. Because the temperature of the electrolytic solution can be maintained, the base can be prevented from being precipitated in an electrolytic solution circulatory system, and the electrolytic cell can be prevented from being damaged. The roll of oxygen in the electrolytic solution circulatory system is suppressed, the oxidation of the electrolytic solution can be controlled, and the decreasing of the quality of the electrodeposition lead due to impurities precipitation on the cathode can be prevented.
