Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a mill stably by injecting water to a crushed raw material on the respective rotary tables of roller mills for supplying coal to a boiler and shifting the timing for starting or stopping water injection of at least one roller mill from that of other roller mills.
SOLUTION: A crushed raw material 4 is dropped on a rotary table 2 through a raw material supply pipe 5 and compression-crushed by a crushing roller 1, large particles are separated by a rotary sorter 7, and only powdered coal is sent to a powdered coal burner. In this process, in the catching part of the crushing roller 1, a water spray flow 14 is sprayed from a nozzle 13 on a raw material powder layer 3 on a rotary table 2, to control the self-excited vibration of roller mills. When the roller mills change the amount of supplied coal simultaneously, the time delay of the start or stop of water injection is set up for at least one roller mill to other roller mills corresponding to the load changing speed of a boiler.
