PURPOSE: To make hands of a crew member hard to touch a non-operation side at the time of the operation of a shift lever or a combination switch and prevent the wrong operation of the shift lever and combination switch, and conduct surely only operations that the crew member requests, by forming the shift lever and the combination switch integrally.
CONSTITUTION: A shift lever 18 and a combination switch 32 are integrally formed at the side surface of a steering column 58, in an operation lever device 31 which is equipped with the travel range changeover shift lever 18 and the combination switch (wiper operating switch) 32 that operates on-vehicle apparatus. As a result, when one of these is operated, it is to be restrained that the hands of a crew member inadvertently touch the other. Accordingly, it is prevented that the shift lever 18 and the combination switch 32 are wrongly operated against the will of the crew member.
