Title:
OPTICAL DEFLECTOR AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3308768
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of optical characteristics due to the stresses, etc., generated in a stage for assembling a rotary polyhedral mirror, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A revolving sleeve 3 constitutes an air bearing between it and an fixed shaft 2. The rotary polyhedral mirror 1 is pressed atop a flange member 4 by a pressure bar spring 6. The flange member 4 is integrated by shrinkage fitting to the revolving sleeve 3, and thereafter, the inner peripheral surface of the revolving sleeve 3 and the front surface of the flange member 4, etc., are finished to be target sizes. The occurrence of the defective rotation of the rotary polyhedral mirror and the inclination of its reflection surface are prevented even if the revolving sleeve 3 and the flange member 4 are deformed by the shrinkage fitting.
