Abstract:
To reduce the power consumption.
A driving magnet 18G and an auxiliary magnet 18g are arranged on a rotor 18R equipped with mirrors 18M which scan a laser beam, and a transistor is brought under ON/OFF control so that a magnetic field rotating the rotor 18R is generated around stator coils U, V, and W corresponding to a Hall element having detected the magnetic field of the auxiliary magnet 18g through operation with the magnetic field of the driving magnet 18G when an image is formed and so that a frequency of connection with a power source and the stator coils U, V, and W per specific rotational frequency of the rotor 18R is smaller when no image is formed than when an image is formed.
