To easily and securely make fine adjustments of the position and tilt of the optical axis of a collimator.
Provided are an input-side collimator 5 having an input-side optical fiber 11 and an optical lens 3 provided successively on the optical axis of the input-side optical fiber 11, an input-side optical axis adjusting mechanism 7 having a tilt angle adjusting member 15 for adjusting the tilt angle of the optical axis of the input-side collimator 5 and a position adjusting member 16 for adjusting the position of the optical axis of the input-side collimator 5, and a housing 9 which supports the input-side collimator 5 through the input-side optical axis adjusting mechanism 7. The tilt angle adjusting member 15 is formed in a cylinder shape such that the external diameter gradually decreases along the optical axis L1 of the input-side collimator 5, and supports the input-side collimator 5 at the inner circumferential part. Further, the position adjusting member 16 is provided with an insertion hole 19 into which an outer circumferential part of the tilt angle adjusting member 15 is inserted to come into slide contact, and fixed to the housing 9.
