To prevent the dirt and the damage of an optical pickup by covering the optical pickup with a cover when a disk tray is exposed to the outside in order to load and unload an optical disk.

A tray unit 5 is assembled to be freely slidable to a frame 10. The tray unit 5 has a disk tray 20 which slides to the frame 10 and a pickup unit 22 which is supported on the disk tray 20 through dampers. The optical unit 22 includes a shutter 26 and closes an opening 37 which exposes an optical pickup when the disk tray 20 is drawn from the frame 11 to the outside. The shutter 26 is opened and closed by allowing the tip end 41a of a shutter opening and closing lever 40, which is projected from the side face of the disk tray 20, and one end 47a of a shutter lock lever 47, to be engaged with a cam fixed to the frame 10.
