Title:
OPTICAL DISK RECORDER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD FOR OPTICAL DISK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3758614
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recorder by which the image having the uniform density almost over the whole area of the optical disk is formed even in the state that the revolving speed of a stepping motor and a laser power are controlled to be constant.
SOLUTION: When the image having the uniform density almost over the whole area of the optical disk 200 is formed, the revolving speed of a spindle motor 130 is controlled to be constant by a servo circuit 138, meanwhile, the current value of a driving signal Li is controlled by an ALPC circuit 162 so that the laser power becomes constant. In such a case, the moving amount of an optical pickup 100 is made large at the inner peripheral side where the line width of the image is widened, by a main control part 170, while the moving amount of the optical pickup 100 is made smaller at the outer peripheral side where the line width is narrowed. Then, the instruction to move the optical pickup 100 in the moving amount decided based on the setting is given to a motor driver 142 by the main control part 170.
