Title:
OPTICAL EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006195375
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To finely save power according to the condition in which optical equipment with a camera shake correction function is used.

The optical equipment includes: an operation switch 15 for actuating or stopping the equipment; and a tilt sensor 16 that detects a downward tilt relative to a horizontal optical axis. The equipment performs an actuating time determination operation A16, by which an arbitrary actuating time or a fixed actuating time in which an actuating period for the equipment is predetermined is set based on a difference between the length of time that the operation switch 15 is depressed for actuation and that depressed for stop. Control is exerted such that the actuation stop of the equipment is permitted when the fixed actuating time is selected and also a tilt is detected, and the actuation stop by turning off the power source of the equipment is inhibited when an arbitrary actuating time is selected and also a tilt is detected by the tilt sensor 16.
