A system includes the plurality of image forming apparatuses 10 and a host computer 20 for centrally managing the image forming apparatuses 10. The host computer 20 has an attribute information managing section 22, that collects and manages attribute information from each image forming apparatus 10 that is under management. The host computer 20 also has an analyzing section 25, designed such that when a request for delivering a prescribed component constituting the image forming apparatus 10 is received from a prescribed terminal device 30, the image forming apparatus 10, in which the function using the component relating to the request is less frequently used, is selected from among the image forming apparatuses under management, based on the attribute information managed by the attribute information managing section 22, and a determination is made to deliver the component from it. The host computer 20 generates a response, including the result of the analysis and sends it to the terminal device 30.
