PURPOSE: To illuminate an exhibition body in color at an optional angle from an optional position without discharging heat to a low-temperature room and present creative illumination by feeding parallel rays to one end of an optical fiber cable and fixing the other end of the cable toward the ice exhibition body in the low-temperature room.
CONSTITUTION: The light from the light source 30 of a light source unit 20 in the optical fiber illumination method for an ice exhibition body 2 is made parallel rays by a reflecting mirror 22 and a lens 23 and fed to one end of an optical fiber cable 27 while the heat ray component is removed by a heat ray cut filter 24. The other end of the cable 27 is fixed in a low-temperature room at the position facing an exhibition body 2, and the light flux from the other end of the cable 27 is projected to the exhibition body 2 as shown by an arrow L to illuminate it at an optional angle. A color switching plate 41 having color translucent plates 43a - 43e is arranged between the filter 24 and one end of the cable 27, and colors of color illumination are rhythmically switched to perform creative and novel illumination.
