Abstract:
To provide an optical fiber woven fabric capable of reliably protecting an optical fiber drawn out from a body part of the optical fiber woven fabric without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: An optical fiber woven fabric comprises: a body part 30 which is formed by single-weaving using a first yarn 42 made of a fiber, and an optical fiber 40 as one of a warp and a weft, and a second yarn 44 made of a fiber as the other of the warp and the weft; and a bag-like hollow weave part 32 which is connected to an end edge 30A in the direction in which the one of the body part 30 extends, is formed by double-weaving using the first yarn 42 and the second yarn 44, and has an open end 32A of the side opposite to the body part 30. A plurality of optical fibers 40 protruding from the body part 30 to the hollow weave part 32 side is arranged inside the hollow weave part 32, and bundled on the end 32A side of the hollow weave part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
