Abstract:
To provide an optical filter capable of: improving an image quality in two or more types of photographic environments where an unnecessary component wavelength and a necessary component wavelength have a mutual relation with each other and a wavelength of a transmission band and a wavelength of a prevention band are contradictory; and responding to cost reduction.SOLUTION: An optical filter comprises, on one surface of a substrate having optical transparency spanning from a visible wavelength to a specific wavelength area where the visual wavelength and wavelength are continuing: a specific wavelength transmission film that blocks light of the visible wavelength and prevents reflection of light of the specific wavelength area; and a specific wavelength blocking film that prevents reflection of light of the visible wavelength and blocks light of the specific wavelength area. The optical filter also includes a visible specific wavelength reflection preventive film for preventing the reflection of light spanning from the visible wavelength to the specific wavelength area, on the other surface of the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
