Abstract:
To provide an optical laminate body and a circularly polarizing plate which can suppress coloring of reflected light even if the optical laminate body and the circularly polarizing plate are exposed to a highly moisture environment.SOLUTION: An optical laminate body 10 includes: an orientation liquid crystal layer 11 in which a liquid crystal compound is oriented; an optical layer 12; and an adhesive layer 13 for making the orientation liquid crystal layer 11 and the optical layer 12 adhere to each other. In the optical laminate body 10, the change rate of an in-plane retardation at the wavelength of 550 nm before and after a humidification environment test under the condition that the temperature is maintained at 20°C and the relative moisture is maintained at 98% for 30 days is 0.50% or smaller. In the optical laminate body 10, the saturation c*={(a*)2+(b*)2}1/2 of reflected light when light is emitted from the orientation liquid crystal layer 11 after a humidification environment test under the condition that the temperature is maintained at 20°C and the relative moisture is maintained at 98% for 30 days is preferably not larger than 0.25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
