Abstract:

To provide an optical network unit which facilitates jobs for maintenance, checking, and replacement of a circuit board accommodated in a case.

The optical network unit 10 comprises the case 15 mounted on a mounting surface 13; an extra length processing part 17, which is accommodated in the case 15 and collects extra length parts 12A of optical fibers; and a circuit board 18 which is accommodated in the case 15 so as to be laminated with respect to the extra length processing part 17. The case 15 includes a fixing side case 21 which is fixed on the mounting surface 13, and a movable side case 23 which can open/close the opening part 22 of the fixing side case 21. The circuit board 18 is accommodated in the case 15 so as to be exposed to the outside, in a state of the movable side case 23 opening the opening part 22.
