Title:
OPTICAL SCANNING OPTICAL DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3472205
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily correct the curvature of a field and to attain the uniformity of light distribution on a scanned surface with a simple constitution, and also, to cope with various kinds of specification also, to obtain a general purpose optical system.
SOLUTION: The optical device is provided with a 1st optical system including a light source means (semiconductor laser) 1, and for converting a luminous flux emitted from the light source means 1 to a nearly collimated luminous flux in a main scanning cross section, a 2nd optical system 12 including the 1st optical system, and for making the luminous flux incident on the deflection surface of a light deflector so that the width of the flux may be larger than the width in the main scanning direction of the deflection surface, a 3rd optical system 13 for imaging the luminous flux deflected/reflected by the light deflector on the scanned surface. In this case, the following condition is satisfied; SA×(f32/f1×f2)≤1 (mm), provided that SA denotes the maximum spherical aberration of an absolute value generated in the effective diameter of the 1st optical system, fl, f2 and f3 denote respective focal distances in the main scanning cross sections of the 1st optical system, and the 2nd and 3rd optical systems 12 to 13.
