Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical subscriber line terminal station equipment controlling Cell Delay Variation(CDV) generated by applying Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation(DBA), an ATM based Passive Optical Network(APON) system and a cell delay fluctuation control method in the Optical Line Terminal(OLT) of the APON system.
SOLUTION: The optical subscriber line terminal station equipment in the APON system which dynamic band assignment is performed between the optical subscriber line terminal station equipment and an optical subscriber line terminal equipment is provided with a shaper part shaving cells form the optical subscriber line terminal equipment and a working parameter controller monitoring the traffic of the cells shaved by the shaper part.
