PURPOSE: To obtain an oral cavity composition to which granular sodium sulfate is formulated under specific conditions, excellent in cool feeling and application feeling.
CONSTITUTION: To this oral cavity composition, is formulated granular sodium sulfate of 300-1,000μm average particle size in an amount of over-saturation so that a part of the salt remains insoluble, preferably more than 35wt.% based on the water in the composition and less than 45wt.% based on the total weight of the composition, more preferably the content of the sodium sulfate remaining insoluble in the composition attains 1-30wt.%, particularly 6-25wt.%. Usually, sodium sulfate is formulated to the composition in an amount of 15-30wt.% based on the total weight of the composition. In addition, a binder, a thickener, flavors, surfactants and other usual additives are properly added to give paste, solution and other oral preparations.
