Abstract:
To provide an oral hygiene device having a bactericidal action of cleaning parts and excellent portability.
The oral hygiene device 1 includes: an electric toothbrush 2 having a power source 15 and cleaning parts 30 cleaning an oral cavity; a cap 50 capable of being attached to the electric toothbrush 2 and detached from the electric toothbrush 2 and protecting the cleaning parts 30; and a light source 61 irradiating the cleaning parts 30 with ultraviolet light. The oral hygiene device 1 supplies electric power of the power source 15 to the light source 61 when detecting that the cap 50 can be attached to the electric toothbrush 2.
