Abstract:
To provide an organic EL display device that uses multicolor painted type organic EL elements as a light source, and that can satisfy two characteristics of high penetrability and external light antireflection of light emitted from organic EL elements of respective colors.SOLUTION: There is provided an organic EL display device 10 which has organic EL elements, displaying at least red, green and blue on a substrate and colored layers of the same colors with the organic EL elements over the organic EL elements. The organic EL display device has a red light emission maximum wavelength of 600 to 650 nm, a green light emission maximum wavelength of 500 to 550 nm, and a blue light emission maximum wavelength of 430 to 480 nm, wherein the red colored layer has a wavelength range of equal to or larger than 600 nm exceeding a half value of the maximum light transmissivity, the green-colored layer has a maximum light transmissivity wavelength of 500 to 550 nm, and the blue colored layer has a maximum light transmissivity wavelength of 430 to 480 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
