Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic compound having preferable luminescence region and an organic electroluminescent(EL) element using this compound which luminesces in a bluish violet to nearly ultraviolet region of short wavelength and has long durability and high brightness. SOLUTION: This organic compound is represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1 to R8 are each hydrogen or a substituent; at least one of R1 to R4 represents a substituent; R9 to R13 are each hydrogen or a substituent; and R14 to R28 are each hydrogen, an alkyl group or the like).
