Abstract:
To provide an organic EL element with sufficient brightness and excellent stability and durability, easy to manufacture, and capable of coping with enlargement of the luminous area.
The organic EL element has one or a plurality of organic compound layers interposed between a pair of electrodes of which at least one electrode is transparent or translucent. At least one layer of the organic compound layers contains at least one kind of charge transporting polyurethane composed of repeating units at least containing one kind of structure selected from the structures denoted by general formulae (I-1) and (I-2).
