Abstract:
To provide an organic matter treating device capable of inhibiting the discharging of smell until the heating temperature of a catalyst by the heater of a deodorizing device is increased.
In the organic matter treating device with the deodorizing device 20 which thermally deodorizes exhaust gas using a heater 21 and the catalyst 22, in an exhaust passage 15 from a treatment tank for treating an organic matter such as garbage by decomposition, a deodorizer (a heat insulating sheet 24 with the deodorizer) which adsorbs a small component contained in the exhaust gas and self-regenerates by discharging the adsorbed bad-smelling component when heated.
