Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula (DMET)2X [DMET is dimethyl(ethylenedithio)diselenadithiafulvalene; X is electron accepting group].
USE: An organic superconductive compound.
PREPARATION: For example, 4,5-dimethyl-1,3-diselenole-2-selenone is coupled with 4,5-ethylenedithio-7,3-dithiol-2-one in the presence of trimethyl phosphite to synthesize DMET shown by the formula, which is electrochemically oxidized in a chlorobenzene solvent by the use of dicyanoaurate (I) tetra n- butylammonium as a supporting electrolyte by constant current method at room temperature to give the aimed compound wherein X is Au(CN)2.
