Abstract:
To provide a catalyst system exhibiting a good catalyst activity in polymerization reactions of polar group-containing norbornenes within a wide range.
An organometallic compound is obtained by mixing the following (a), (b) and (c). (a) a neutral organopalladium complex having palladium and two organic ligands concerned with binding to the palladium and having at least 3 carbon number, (b) an organophosphorus compound having one phosphorus atom and (c) a salt composed of an anion having no unshared electron pair in the central atom and a countercation.
