Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental body which can show a metallic feeling and the ornamentality of which can be improved.
SOLUTION: This ornamental body 11 consists of a square stainless steel plate 12 and an ornamental part 13 provided at the center of the surface of the stainless steel plate 12. The ornamental part 13 is formed by drawing a predetermined pattern with a black film 14 having a dark color-based color tone, a red colored layer 15 having a light color based color tone and a plated layer 16, all of which are formed on the surface of the stainless steel plate 12. The red colored layer 15 is formed on the surface of the stainless steel plate 12, which is exposed by removing some part of the black film 14 on the stainless steel plate 12. The plated layer 16 is also and similarly formed on the surface of the stainless steel plate 12, which is formed by removing the black film 14.
