This outdoor unit of the air conditioner wherein air suction openings are formed at right and left side faces and the back face of a box-shaped housing, an air supply opening is formed at a top face, the heat exchanger is disposed inside the air suction opening, an air distribution fan is disposed inside the air supply opening, an electrical component box is received at a front face, and a front panel is disposed, has a structure where ends of the heat exchangers are kept into contact with front-side right and left supports constituting the housing, the front-side right and left supports are provided with edges at ends, side plates are disposed at ends of the heat exchanger, ends of the side plates have extending portions extending to be kept into contact with the supports, and edges of the supports and the extending portions of the heat exchanger are kept into contact with each other, and connected and fixed.
