To provide an output terminal apparatus of an AC generator for a vehicle which has simple structure and can set the lead-out direction of an outer wire, in two or more directions.
A cylindrical flange 4b having a notched part 4c is installed on one end of an insulator cylinder 4. A fitting part 4d is installed on the other end of the insulator cylinder 4. A hole 2a, having a form capable of inserting the fitting part 4d at each rotation of a specified angle is formed in a housing 2 of an AC generator for a vehicle. A screw part 6a of an outer wire 6 can be connected with the end portion of an output terminal bolt 3. The lead-out direction of the outer wire 6 is determined by the notched part 4c. The insulator cylinder 4 can be inserted in the hole 2a bored in the housing 2 at each rotation of a specified angle. When the insulator cylinder 4 is inserted in the hole 2a at each rotation of a specified angle, the direction of the notched part 4c also can be changed according to the rotation. As a result, the lead-out direction of the outer wire 6 can be set in two or more directions.
