To provide an outrigger jack device for a vehicle for high lift work capable of detecting the amount of extension of a beam and the amount of extension of a jack despite the fact that the structure is simple.
The extension/retraction of the outrigger beam 22 is allowed only when a jack 32 is fully retracted. A detection means 40 comprising a winding part 43 which wraps a wire 42 as a flexible thread body F therearound so as to be let out and taken in and a detection part 44 for detecting the let-out amount of the wire 42 based on the fact that the outrigger beam 22 and the jack 32 are fully retracted is fixed to a holding member 21 for holding the outrigger beam 22. The front end of the wire 42 is fixed to the jack 32 while the wire 42 let out from the winding part 43 is stretched in the extension/retraction directions of the outrigger beam 22 and the jack 32. Since the wire 42 is let out from the winding part 43 according to the extension of the outrigger beam 22 or the jack 32, the let-out amount of the wire is detected by the detection part 44.
